We proudly serve Rutland and the surrounding areas of Holden, Princeton, and Paxton.
Digital X-Rays
Instead of using x-ray film to obtain pictures of your teeth, we now use digital radiography. This technology uses digital sensors to produce highly detailed images while reducing radiation exposure. Not only that, but we can easily store your x-rays to either monitor your dental condition or refer to them later. We can also send them to your insurance company with the click of a button.
Laser Dentistry
Our soft tissue laser allows us to use a focused beam of light to complete several dental procedures, including periodontal treatment, gum recontouring, frenectomies, and canker sore treatments. Dental lasers can remove tissues without harm, and they promote faster healing than traditional treatments that were used in the past. You can expect little to no discomfort from a laser dentistry procedure.
CBCT Cone Beam Technology
With CBCT cone-beam technology, we can produce 3-D images of your mouth and all its surrounding structures to help us diagnose any dental issues, as well as plan for dental implants, extractions, root canals, and orthodontic treatment. This state-of-the-art digital imaging allows us to streamline your dental treatment in that it helps us to diagnose and plan your dental procedure while letting you see the same images we see. That way, we can more easily explain your procedure and answer your questions.
Panoramic X-Rays
With a panoramic x-ray, we can capture an image of your entire mouth, including all your teeth, as well as your head and neck. It gives us a way to diagnose dental concerns such as cavities and gum disease, and we can also identify signs of oral cancer or other abnormalities that might not be visible on regular bitewing x-rays. Panoramic x-rays help us treat you better and faster than ever before; if we can detect dental issues early, you can expect faster, less invasive treatments.
Intraoral Camera
The intraoral camera is as much for the patient as it is for the dentist; it is a tiny digital camera the dentist places in your mouth that allows them to magnify your teeth and gums. Your dentist can see and identify dental issues, but they can also show you any problem areas in your mouth and explain your treatment or educate you on improving your oral hygiene. You can relax comfortably while viewing video images of cavities, cracks in your teeth, or signs of gum disease.
Digital Impressions
Gone are the days when messy, gooey impressions were the only way to capture a likeness of your teeth. Instead of these inaccurate and uncomfortable impressions, we now use digital impressions to give us a more accurate view of your teeth. Our digital impressions can easily be transformed into three-dimensional images of your teeth, allowing us to better plan for your dental treatment. We use digital impressions for a variety of dental restorations and cosmetic procedures.
TV in Treatment Rooms
We want you to be as comfortable as possible during your dental treatments, so we offer television in our treatment rooms to help distract and relax you. Choose a movie or one of your favorite television programs to watch while we take care of your oral hygiene, and before you know it, you’ll be ready to move on with your day.
Formlab 3-D Printer
The Formlab 3-D printer is cutting-edge technology that is useful in a variety of dental applications. Without relying on an outside dental lab, we can create diagnostic and clear aligner models and occlusal guards in our dental office.
E4D Same-Day Restorations
Our E4D system allows us to use computer-aided design (CAD) and computer-aided manufacturing (CAM) to obtain digital impressions and then transform those impressions into actual dental crowns, fillings, or veneers while you wait comfortably in our dental office. In just one visit, we can create precise dental restorations that look and feel completely natural. This state-of-the-art technology is much faster and more comfortable than previous techniques.
VELscope
VELscope is a wireless device that allows us to detect abnormalities in your mouth that we might not be able to see with the naked eye. It uses a blue light to look for signs of oral cancer, showing a contrast between normal and abnormal tissue. Early detection of oral cancer is critical, and the VELscope is an essential tool we use to optimize your oral health.
